This is the pattern for a cushion cover styled with a cute little sheep face pattern worked intarsia style.

Any techniques needed for a particular pattern are explained in detail – any different size requirements are colour coded – and you will find helpful tips throughout.

The Kitten and The Goat is one of the last independent knitting shops left in Cumbria.  It can be found in the centre of the town – tucked down a 16^th century Shambles all the kids call Diagon Alley.  Many of the original features of the shop are still there and it is a glorious Aladdin’s cave of treasure.

Kitten has been knitting all her life.  Her specialities are starting beginners off on their own knitting journey and working on her other business -The Posh Dog Clothing Company.  Kitten has a very straight forward approach to passing on her knowledge and believes in de-bunking all the jargon and pseudo technical stuff that puts the beginner off progressing. 

She says ‘every piece of knitting – whether the finest lace shawl – Fair Isle colour work – or the ropes, nets and cable of Aran patterning – it’s all just a knit stitch – and a purl stitch – and moving them about.  Once you can work those – everything else is just practice and confidence to have a go’.
